WHALE WATCHING & SALTO EL LIMON

Our tour begins taking the new road to the fishermen town of Miches, on one of our modern transportation units. An hour road trip watching the countryside along the coast and the Anamuya range. We get on board at Las Cañitas in our Luxury Catamaran to pay a visit to the humpback whales. These whales are regular visitors in the Bay of Samaná. Every year from mid January until mid April these huge mammals leave the arctic to mate and give birth in the protected bay along the Dominican Republic’s east coast. The whales have been wintering in this region for centuries. Next, we will head for the Samaná coast to adventure into the peninsula, where the mountains reach an altitude of 2,100 feet. Enjoy a delicious typical unch and afterwards ride a horse for 30 minutes through incredible lush vegetation, plants, coffee, cocoa and a variety of tropical fruits.
